_SCIMMIE IN GABBIA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL

"Scimmie in Gabbia 2009" is the 8th edition of a dance/music/visual arts festival related to underground languages and sub-cultures.
In year 2009, the festival is not only developed in Italy: it will cross the borders and meet young Europeans in some of the most beautiful locations of the Region.
Scimmie in gabbia 2009 is ON THE ROAD, experimenting a new formula of entertainment, aimed to improve youth mobility, cultural dialogue and creative excange.

This year, a selected team of graffiti artists, supported by a superbe Dj and "monkey-staff", will travel across Italy, Österreich and Slovenija, using a decorated pullman and bringing around live painting shows and performances.
The project is very ambituos and it is thought to be realized in co-partecipation with other subjects and groups. 
The staff is pleased to see that "Scimmie in Gabbia" is moving great enthusiasm and partecipation in the every location, meeting the combined energy of Scimmie Bisiache Cultural Association and local artists and institutions.
The project has a main formal support from "Provincia di Gorizia" institution.
